Our 11-week Workforce Development training program provides you with the skills, knowledge, and mentorship to start or grow your business! Topics covered include: Introduction to Entrepreneurship Marketing for Entrepreneurs Financials for Start-ups Website Development Work one-on-one with a business coach to help guide and meet your specific goals. You will develop a business plan pitch deck as part of the class and earn 3 college credits! The culminating project will be a pitch event, run in conjunction with StartUp Bucks . StartUp Bucks is nonprofit organization created by and for entrepreneurs to support new and existing startups to drive economic and cultural growth in and beyond Bucks County. You will receive feedback and suggestions from a panel of successful entrepreneurs and industry experts. Program details Class format : Online instruction is live with professor, cohort-based, via an online learning platform. Dates : Cohort runs Wednesday, September 11 through Wednesday, November 18 Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8:30 p.m. The pitch event will be held Thursday, December 5 from 6-8 p.m. at the Newtown Campus. Cost : Training is free for Bucks County, PA residents that meet the eligibility requirements. Candidates must have a high school diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) certification and will be interviewed to determine program suitability.
